Monitor Purpose and Use

The NIST RPKI Monitor is a test and measurement tool developed by NIST’s Advanced Network Technologies Division for the purpose of supporting research, development and standardization of technologies to improve the robustness and security of the Internet’s inter-domain routing infrastructure. The monitor attempts to quantitatively characterize the state of deployment of the emerging Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI) in terms of its completeness, correctness and robustness.

Please read the NIST disclaimer regarding the software of this system, the information it provides and the other resources it uses. But in particular note that this is a tool provided “as is” and for research purposes only. All other uses are strongly discouraged.

NIST continues to add new test and measurement capabilities to the monitor. If you have questions or comments about current or future features, please email rpki–monitor@nist.gov.
